A Leader within the Oil & Gas Industry Globally is looking for a high calibre Senior Piping Engineer to join their existing team at their regional head office in KL.


1. Senior Piping Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
Preparation of datasheets/specifications for various Piping equipments.
Performing stress analysis calculations using Caesar II software.
Reviewing vendor documents/ drawings for various Piping equipments.
Reviewing work responsibilities of the Piping discipline personnel and the manpower requirements for the project.
Preparing man-hour estimates and budgetary quotations and list of deliverables for the purpose of new work order proposals.

Requirements:
A sound understanding of project scope of work and able to participate in receipt and analysis of work requirements.
Able to determine estimated time/ man-hours for work completion.
Understanding of project and client requirements for piping engineering discipline.
Interaction with other engineering disciplines, identify the inputs required by them and accordingly provide the same.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to all staff engaged on the project in the Piping discipline.
Understand the contractual scope of work and raise variation requests for any work not covered as part of the work scope.
Should have at least 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry in Piping Engineering (preferably with a large MNC)
Should have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related)


2. Senior Mechanical Engineer
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
Preparation of datasheets/ specifications for various Mechanical Equipments.
Preparation of Requisitions for Quotations (RFQ’S) and Purchase specifications.
Evaluation of Technical Offers provide by vendor.
Preparation of Technical Bid evaluations and Technical Query sheets.
Reviewing vendor documents.
Reviewing work responsibilities of the Mechanical discipline personnel and the manpower requirements for the project.
Preparation of man-hour estimates and budgetary quotations and list of deliverables for the purpose of new work order proposals.

Requirements:
A sound understanding of project scope of work and able to participate in receipt and analysis of work requirements.

Understanding of project and client requirements for mechanical engineering discipline.
