Quality Assurance Engineer
The Job:
- Develop and maintain product inspection processes
- Perform ODAR (Organizational Designated Airworthiness Representative) functions upon FAA certification and products’ First Article Inspection
- Maintain product quality metrics
- Conduct regular reviews on failure trends, and facilitate product failure analysis and improvement with cross-functional team
- Liaise with internal and external customers on issues related to product conformity and integrity
- Execute product transfers to manufacturing and participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years’ working experience in quality assurance
- Sound knowledge of statistical tools
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Quality System
Material Quality Engineer (0610)
Job & Requirements:
- Provide technical support to supply chain management function, i.e. to audit and manage technical aspects of all except for electrical commodities
- Coordinate root causes analysis and corrective actions on both quality and supply related technical issues
- Act as focal point in quality and reliability issues with internal & external customers
- Participate actively in scrap reduction and yield improvement programs
- Accountable for supplier performance metric i.e. quality & delivery
- Appointed as representative for MRB activities, to take responsibility to ensure deviated materials that require MRB decision are properly carried our and documented as per quality system requirements
- Ensuring equipment support use by material quality department are properly maintained and calibrated in accordance to quality system requirements
- Where required, MQ Engineer is responsible to perform or conduct supplier surveillance, first article inspection approval and/or process audits at periodic intervals
- Possess good communication skills
- Working effectively and productively with others
- Meticulous, systematic problem solver
- Good knowledge of statistical tools i.e. SPC and quality improvement techniques
- Familiar and knowledgeable in quality management system i.e. ISO procedures and AS9000 standards
- Anticipating, meeting and/or exceeding customers needs, wants and expectations
- Goals orientated
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline with 2 or more years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
- Diploma in Engineering or a relevant discipline with 5 or more years of working experience in similar environment
