Position Summary
NDT Asset Integrity Operations.
CORE FUNCTION – Coordinate, plan and run NDT operations for onshore and offshore projects. Assist the client/s with conventional/advanced NDT methods/techniques for onshore and offshore operations in conjunction with local and regional Projects ensuring qualified staff are available to complete works.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scope of work and planning of personnel and equipment for on and Offshore operations based out of Batam, including client liaison.
  • Assist your Manager with personnel levels to ensure an adequate workforce is available.
  • Assist your Manager by advising on relevant procedures, techniques, equipment (where appropriate) and assist with the issuing of work requests, test records, procedures and standards appropriate to complete the work scope.
  • Compile technical info for work packs and review final documents prior to issue.
  • Promotion and development of NDT onshore and offshore operations
  • Assist your manager with the monitoring of costs and cost effectiveness and budgeting.
  • Assist with timesheets for all personnel assigned to projects and local work ensuring accuracy of times, dates, job coding etc, which is provided to payroll within the required deadlines.
  • Assist the commercial dept with quotes for jobs requested by clients.
  • Assist with the invoicing process of jobs from start to finish to the standard required by the Finance team.
  • Assist with the monitoring of the procurement of equipment and consumables via liaison with the Equipment Controller.
  • In consultation with the relevant manager, ensure that personnel assigned to each project are adequately qualified and experienced to perform their tasks
  • Solve problems and attend to questions and complaints, both internally and externally.
  • Ensure good housekeeping habits are being adhered to on your projects.
  • Assisting your Manager with tasks as required.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections and make site inspections report to your Manager
  • Ensure work is performed expiditiously and in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • Maintain certification in currently held test methods.
  • Complete refresher training for paperwork, reporting and relevant test procedures.
  • Keep site/safety inductions current.
  • Participate in Operations Management meetings.
  • Duties outside the above may be required from time to time at the discretion of your Manager if deemed to be within your capabilities.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System
  • Imbue personnel with a positive attitude in relation to quality management issues.
  • Handle Improvement Action Request and follow up

  • Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Oceaneering Health Safety and Environmental Management System, observing in addition any site specific and/or statutory requirements.
  • Promote a positive attitude in personnel in relation to Safety and Environment issues.
  • Actively promote and proactively model the company’s focus on safety when interacting with all current and future employees and clients.
  • Support Operational Management to achieve effective implementation of the company HSEQ Policies and Procedures, with particular emphasis on key elements such as Permit to Work, Task Based Risk Assessment, Toolbox Talks, Hazard Observations, Near Miss Reporting, and Accident/Incident Investigation.   • Ensure the work site comply all requirements of SNI 19-17020
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required.
  • OTHER*
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
  • Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company.
  • Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.
  • Any other task/duties as designated by your line manager

-Technical abilities and relevant qualifications (e.g. UT, MT, PT, RT, ET methods as appropriate). (E) - Have an adequate knowledge of inspection codes criteria and statutory requirements. (E) - Sound understanding of procedures, systems, KAN and NATA requirements. (E) - Sound knowledge of the Company’s technical business including Advanced NDT, Plant Inspection, and Innovative Applications. (P) - Project management experience. (E) - Good communication and knowledge of the English language, reading, writing and speaking. (E)
