Yard Quality Coordinator Job at Connect Energy Indonesia Batam

Job Description:

1. Closely liaises and coordinates with the Project Quality Manager;
2. Closely communicates with the Quality Leaders and Inspectors to implement the Quality Control Plan, related Inspection Test Plan and Quality Control Forms;
3. Ensures the transmission and implementation of all specifications, implementation plans, drawings, Quality Control Plans, general schedule of works, physical progress reports, 3-week look ahead planning, QC document control procedure, Easy Plant use instructions, etc.;
4. Ensure that all data from the inspections and tests are recorded and reported into appropriate format and systems;
5. Analyses the compliance to production targets, analyses productivity, identifies backlogs;
6. Implements the project’s policies and procedures – in particular the implementation of the re-test policy in the project;
7. Issues and transmits progress reports, weekly mobilization reports, specific equipment status reports;
8. Identifies and communicates the resources (personnel and equipment) gaps to the Project Quality Manager..

Job Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in industrial (preferably offshore oil & gas) steel structures, offshore modules, LNG onshore plants.   
• Have knowledge of calibration of equipment and measuring requirements.
• Able to review and understand planning techniques such as material control, process control plans, rework and refurbishing techniques and processes.
• Able to understand identification and  traceability related to equipment /products /materials /samples and the associated documents/records relating to conformance /non-conformance, results from manufacturing processes and results from monitoring /measurement processes.
• Familiar with Russian standards (RTN) is a plus
• For mechanical, structure, welding, NDT positions –experience with working with low temperature alloys is a plus
• Self disciplined and self motivated.
• Able to work well with people at all levels of the Project –in an international setting
• NACE, FROSIO, SSPC, NFPA, ISO, ASTM and ISO 9001
• AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, NEC and ISO 9001
• ATEX, NEC, CEC, IEC, UL, NFPA  and ISO 9001.
• 4-20 mA and Foundation Fieldbus communication protocol or other
• DCS, vibration, SIS, PLCs, F&G, etc. architecture and hardware
• Work location is either Batam, Indonesia OR Batangas, The Philippines
